Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
This policy explains what information LeaseOps collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the LeaseOps platform used by property management and leasing teams.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what we generate as you use the platform, and what we receive from systems you connect.
- Account information. Your name, work email, company, job role, and password when you request access or create an account.
- Organization and property data. Properties, portfolios, team members, roles, and assignments that you or your administrators set up.
- Operational content. Tasks, messages, notes, files, calendar entries, and leasing activity your team creates in the platform.
- Usage data. Log data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, features used, and timestamps.
- Integration data. Information we retrieve from tools you choose to connect, such as your property management system, email, or messaging provider.
- Billing information. Contact and subscription details. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor and is not stored on our systems.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the platform and your account.
- Authenticate users and enforce role-based and property-level access.
- Sync data with the integrations you have connected.
- Produce the reports, leaderboards, and analytics your organization configures.
- Provide support, respond to requests, and send service and billing notices.
- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve performance and reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your operational content to train models for other customers.
How we share information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Within your organization. Content is visible to other members of your organization according to the roles and property assignments your administrators configure.
- Service providers. Vendors that host our infrastructure, process payments, deliver email, or provide analytics, each bound by contract to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
- Integrations you enable. When you connect a third-party tool, data flows between it and LeaseOps as needed for that integration. The third party's own privacy terms govern what it does with the data.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LeaseOps, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to the information transferred.
Data retention
We keep account and organization information for as long as your subscription is active. Operational content is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward so it can be restored or exported. We keep certain records longer where required for legal, tax, or security purposes. You may request earlier deletion as described below.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, database row-level security to separate organizations, and regular review of who can access production systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to remove access promptly when team members leave.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update most account details directly in the platform. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
If your information was entered by an employer or organization using LeaseOps, that organization controls it. We will refer your request to them and support them in responding.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the product and site are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may prevent you from staying signed in.
International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one where you live. When we transfer personal information across borders, we use safeguards required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and our practices evolve. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the platform before the change takes effect.
